Web Developer (PHP Laravel)

In order to cope with our business expansion, we are now looking for an experienced candidate to join us as a Web Developer / App Developer. This will mainly involve creating business software solutions for internal company use. The job location is in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with different stages of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experienced in writing Test Plans and conducting User Acceptance Tests
• Able to analyse user requirements/ functional specs and transform into technical specs;
• Able to conduct integration with other external systems;
• Able to produce and maintain good quality code which can be reused or adapted by other team members
• Produce and maintain technical documentation
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Additionally, some local IT support role will be required in the office including hardware installation, network troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• At least 3 years’ experience in web application development and App development
• PHP and Web Frameworks
• PHP, HTML, CSS, APACHE, MySQL, JavaScript, AJAX/ JQUERY
• CSS3, HTML5 and Responsive Websites
• AWS
• Knowledge of development frameworks is a definite advantage
• Knowledge of mobile app development (iOS/Android) using React Native or similar is an advantage
• Good knowledge of software implementation best practices
• Self-motivated, responsible and a good team player
• Fluent in English
